To build a vibrant, inclusive, and enduring national platform that empowers Canadian business research students to connect, collaborate, and co-create interdisciplinary knowledge that shapes the future of business scholarship.

CCBRS Mission

The Canadian Conference for Business Research Students (CCBRS) exists to:

• Foster a national community of PhD scholars across Canadian business schools, enabling meaningful academic exchange and collaboration.
  
• Promote interdisciplinary thinking by providing a space where emerging researchers from all business domains can explore shared challenges and innovative solutions.
  
• Enable impactful networking that leads to co-authorships, cross-institutional projects, and long-term scholarly partnerships.
  
• Celebrate student leadership by being a conference led by the research students, for the research students.
  
• Provide an annual thematic platform that addresses contemporary issues (like AI, sustainability, equity, etc.) to anchor discussions and drive relevant, cutting-edge business research.
  
• Strengthen Canada’s academic fabric by uniting PhD scholars in a uniquely Canadian academic setting rooted in collaboration, diversity, and research excellence.
